Some locations may require a transportation or travel fee. You will always receive a clear quote before booking.
Easy international payment
Pay in the way that works best for you.
Wise / bank transfer is usually the most cost-effective choice for USD, GBP and EUR. Japanese bank transfer is also available; card payment can be arranged on request.
Confirm your date
A 50% retainer holds your session.
The remaining balance is due two weeks before your date. For weddings and larger productions, the retainer is tailored to the scope of planning.
Weather, thoughtfully handled
Safety first. Beautiful light, always.
If conditions are unsafe, we will adjust the time, location or reschedule where possible. Cloudy skies alone do not mean we need to cancel.
Cancellation, changes & delivery +
Cancellation & changes. The booking retainer is non-refundable. If you cancel within 14 days, the full session fee is due. Personal date changes depend on availability; any permits, flowers, accommodation or other third-party costs already paid are non-refundable.
Delivery. Proposal sneak peeks arrive within 24 hours. Portrait, couple, proposal and family galleries are typically delivered within 3–6 weeks; films within 6–12 weeks.

About Mayo

I’m Mayo, the photographer and filmmaker behind AMiLiA Visuals. I have photographed weddings and couples across Japan and overseas, and bring an international sensibility to every story I tell.
As a Japanese creative based in Okinawa, I also know the details that make a meaningful day feel easy: the light, the places that work, the local rhythm, and how to coordinate thoughtfully when plans involve flowers, vendors or a surprise.
My work is gently directed, never over-produced. You will always know what to do, while still having room to be yourselves—supported by clear English and Japanese communication from first idea to final gallery.

Can you arrange flowers or a small setup?+
Yes, when available. I can coordinate locally; flowers and décor are quoted separately.
Can the proposal be photographed secretly?+
Absolutely. We plan a clear timing and positioning strategy so it feels completely natural.
Can we take portraits afterwards?+
Yes. Relaxed couple portraits after the proposal are included in both proposal experiences.
Can we use a drone?+
Possibly—depending on the place, weather, wind and local rules.
